Duo Pack

Some evenings for two are settled in advance by a reservation and a menu. This one is settled by whoever lands the first axe. At WoodCutter Leipzig, Richard-Wagner-Straße 1, the Duo Pack gives exactly two people a private target and an hour of coached axe throwing, in a city known for its creative, musical energy and a spot central enough to reach from Augustusplatz, the old town or Plagwitz.

Each of you gets a welcome drink and a surprise snack, a Polaroid keeps your best axe pose, and five nails of Hammer Smash add a small duel on the side. The Leipzig price page lists the pack at €33.

At Richard-Wagner-Straße, the pack is built around a few details that make an evening for two feel looked after:

1. A target that only you use. Eleven lanes share the room, but yours is never shared with another group.

2. Coaching from the very first minute. An Axe Master runs the safety briefing, then stays close with tips and tricks while you find your rhythm.

3. Refreshments already sorted. The welcome drink and the surprise snack are included for both of you, and the bar also serves beers and cocktails if you fancy another round.

4. A photo to take home. The Polaroid catches whichever pose looked coolest in the moment, and it lasts longer than a phone picture.

5. A nail duel to settle the score. Five nails of Hammer Smash give the two of you a second contest once the axes are down.

6. A small step up from the standard session. Two players booking the Wood Experience pay €25 each, so the Duo Pack's €33 buys the drink, the snack, the Polaroid and the nails on top.

If a third or fourth friend joins the plan, the Premium Pack (from 4 throwers, €42) adds a drink, a surprise snack and 45 extra minutes of throwing.

The opening hours let you pick the mood. From Tuesday to Friday, doors open at 14:30 and close at 22:00, so an after work session fits easily. On Saturdays WoodCutter opens at noon and stays open until 23:45, which leaves room for a lunchtime slot or a late one. Sunday runs from 14:30 to 22:00, and Monday is the day off.

A good plan is to start around 7 PM and let the evening continue from there. Bars, restaurants and cocktail spots around the city centre, the old town, Plagwitz and Karl-Liebknecht-Straße are all within reach of the venue, so nobody has to plan a route between stops.

The pack suits a couple, a pair of friends or two colleagues who want to swap the usual table for a target. Booking ahead is strongly recommended, especially for evenings and weekends. Choose your date, your group size and your package online.
