At 37 rue des Alexiens, down in the Marolles, between the Sablon and Manneken-Pis, just 5 minutes on foot from the Grand Place, WoodCutter Brussels occupies a 250m² space designed entirely around axe throwing: Japanese-style burnt wood, materials from sustainable plantations, and 9 caged lanes for maximum safety.

Each group books its own target, guided by an Axe Master who walks you through stance, grip and throwing technique from the first few minutes. Within an hour, most visitors are already sticking their axe in the bullseye, no lumberjack background required.

Between throws, head to the bar: beer, cocktails and soft drinks are served on site, along with cheese and charcuterie boards for when hunger kicks in. Sessions start from €21, drinks and snacks priced separately (€3.50 to €8). And unlike our Antwerp location, we're also open Monday evenings, for anyone who wants to start the week axe in hand.
