Sunday tournament

Every Sunday, WoodCutter Antwerp turns its 9 lanes at Plantinkaai 1 into a real competition arena. The Sunday Tournament is our weekly paid tournament, built for anyone looking to go beyond a regular session: more precision, more adrenaline, more friendly rivalry.

The format is simple: one hour of warm-up to find your rhythm, then it's on to 1-on-1 duels, with several matches running side by side on our lanes until a champion is crowned. Plan for up to 3 hours total, for €10 per person.

Whether you're a regular at the bar across from the Sint-Anna tunnel or you're just discovering axe throwing in Antwerp's historic center, the Sunday Tournament is the place to put your skills to the test, all in a still very laid-back atmosphere.

The Sunday Tournament is open to people who've already completed a full axe-throwing session at WoodCutter (in Antwerp or elsewhere) and are already familiar with the basic technique and safety rules. It's aimed mainly at:

• Regulars at WoodCutter Antwerp

• Groups of friends looking for a real challenge

• Axe-throwing enthusiasts

• Anyone curious to try a tournament format

How does it actually work?

• Paid entry: €10/person

• 1 hour of warm-up, followed by 1-on-1 matches with direct elimination

• Several duels run at the same time across our lanes

• A single winner crowned at the end of the tournament
